Session Title: Fostering an Inclusive and Safe Classroom Through Immigrant-Focused K-12 Curriculum and Literature
Description:
Through dynamic, hands-on, and student-centered trainings, educators and school leaders will be equipped with classroom strategies and best practices in order to effectively implement immigrant-focused curriculum and texts. This training is aimed to increase the capacity of educators while supporting their efforts in fostering an inclusive and safe classroom culture for immigrant students.

Session Title: College Access for Undocumented Students
Description:
Every year, approximately 65,000 undocumented students graduate from high school, yet only  5-10% of them go onto college. High school counselors and educators can play an important role in providing resources and guidance on the college admission process and financial aid for undocumented students. This session supports counselors and educators in building knowledge and skills in order to effectively support immigrant students through the college-admissions process.
Session Title:  Creating a Safe School Environment for Undocumented Students and Families
Description:
School staff play a key role in creating a welcome culture for all students and families in our schools.Given the complexities of creating a safe and welcoming environment for undocumented students and families, schools staff must have concrete tools and practices to engage with undocumented students, parents, and immigration officials.
